10+ inches virgin 11 year old Asian hair-true black

My 11 year daughter (South Korean) decided to cut her super long, 100% virgin, Asian hair. Her hair type is 1C, very thick and coarse, but still straight and shiny, so it can be hard to make curls last. Hair is 10-12 inches. Never been dyed or chemically treated in any way. Washed 2-3 times per week with Matrix Sleek & Shine products and allowed to air dry. No heat damage.
