My hair is beautiful, silky, shiny, straight, brown, fine and 100% virgin. I am a 16 year old half White/Caucasian and half Japanese female. I’ve always gotten head turns and compliments on how beautiful, silky, smooth, and soft my hair looks and feels, and people often wonder if I straighten it (never have, it is naturally pin straight). I *just* had 11.5 inches of my hair professionally cut off ready to be shipped to the buyer. It is being safely stored. The circumference at the tightest point is 2.5 inches. I’ve included various photos from different times to show my hair in different lighting. Some of the photos are from trips to Japan (to explain the backgrounds) and are not the best quality due to cropping. All are unedited. The photo with the measuring tape against my hair before the cut shows 10 inches but ended up cutting 11.5 inches.
My hair is a medium dark brown and in direct sunlight it is a much lighter brown (as shown in the photos) with individual strands that appear golden. The texture is fine, smooth and soft, feels like silk. I receive regular trims every few months to keep the ends healthy. I maintain a healthy diet/lifestyle, I have never smoked or drank alcohol. I wash my hair 5 times a week as my hair is naturally very oily and have found that that is the best option for my hair. I use organic shampoo and conditioner, my regular brand is OGX (contains coconut oil, keratin proteins, avocado oil, cocoa butter) otherwise it’s usually something that contains coconut. I have never used any heat (curling/straightening iron, blow dryer, etc.) or any harmful products (such as hair spray, dye, fragrance, etc.). It is always air dried. I’ve only ever used a hair dryer very few times in my life and it’s always on a low and colder air setting, but I haven’t used one for many months. If I tie it up (which I almost never do) I use quality hair ties that do not damage the hair. I brush my hair with a quality brush and when I comb it I use a quality chrome wide-tooth comb which prevents static and breakage. There might be a few minimal split ends, but I did spend some time going through and trimming off any I could possibly find. If there are any they won’t be noticeable unless you are looking very closely, most will only be the size of a speck or one millimeter, where trimming them off will make absolutely no difference to the length of the hair.
