After growing out my hair all of my life, I have finally decided to cut it before moving to college in the fall. I plan to cut off roughly 28 inches of my hair (leaving enough to put it up in a ponytail). At least 24 inches of the hair is fairly thick (with the upper part measuring just shy of 3 inches wide!), although at inch 24 it tapers off naturally.
My hair is a natural straight blonde/dirty blonde, with distinct natural highlights, and color variation from blonde to dirty blonde and light brown. The most notable of the natural highlights is a thick, honey blonde lock that begins at the top of my head and continues all the way to the bottom. The highlights add definition and character to the already-shining hair, whether up or down, in a braid or in an elaborate wig hairdo. My hair is naturally straight – perfect for many styles of wigs! (The waviness/poofyness in the pictures comes as a result of the hair having been braided). When wet, the hair appears a medium brown color, with distinct gold streaks from the natural highlights. This hair sparkles in the sunlight, and it will look natural on anyone who prefers blonde or brown hair, unique while being a perfect fit!
I have always taken good care of my hair. I only ever wash it 1-2 times a week, always with Suave shampoo and conditioner. I have never drunk or smoked and live in a smoke-free home. This hair has never been dyed, bleached, heated, dried with hot air, curled, or in any other way treated. In the last several years I have had it trimmed regularly to avoid thinning and split ends.
In addition, something unique to this hair is that it has always been kept in a braid. Because I braid my hair 24/7, this means 1) fewer tangles – less brushing required, and less hair breakage, 2) less damage from the sun, chlorine (although I only swim 2-3 times per year), or other elements, and 3), less chance of wear and tear on the hair. While others may claim “virgin” hair, this hair is the most untreated, gently cared for on the market!
I am selling roughly 28 inches of my hair. In the upper portion, the hair measures close to 3 inches around! Near the 2-ft mark, however, the hair thins naturally. In addition, my hair is finer and smoother than many other types of hair. I have not yet cut my hair, so I am willing to have it cut in a certain way depending on your specifications!
