Hair was cut into three pony tails by a professional on September 2nd, 2023 and kept in an airtight plastic bag. Total thickness of all three ponytails is 3 inches. Layers are present throughout the cut hair, but the median length between the three pony tails is 12 inches. At time of hair cutting, only shampoo and conditioner had been used before it was dry.
Pictures also provided of what hair looked like before being cut from nape of neck length, so top sunlightened waves did not make it into the cut ponytails. Very dark blond hair with some mixed layers. The bulk of it is 12 inches unstraightened with the very bottom layer 14 unstraightened. Hair is naturally wavy with mostly S waves and some spirals when curl cremes/gels are not used. When styling cremes are used, more spirals remain intact throughout the day. There are layers in the 3 inch thickness for sale, as visible in the pictures.
Hair had never been chemically colored or straightened. Hair was washed every 4 days and allowed to air dry, except for about every 3rd wash day when hair is diffused dry until about 80% dry (as shown in outdoor picture in indirect sunlight). Non smoker. Shampoo, conditioner, treatments, and styling products have been almost exclusively from Ouidad the last 12 months. Hair length shown was mostly grown out during pregnancy. Hair is trimmed about twice per year.
