featpgradgradeeeIn mid October I will be cutting my long natural red locks and selling them.
I’m an ex hairdresser, as such, I will be cutting the hair myself, unless the buyer would like to. (I’m in rural Victoria, Australia)
I’m planning on going with a chelsea cut, so only my bangs/fringe will remain.
Due to the nature of the cut, I will be doing 10 sections/ponytails rather than the usual 6, to get as close to the scalp as possible in preparation for the shave.
The only products apart from a shampoo and conditioner I use are dry shampoo (cornstarch) and an almond oil blend to nourish the lengths and ends.
I wash it only once a week or less.
I always let it dry naturally.
I have never smoked.
I do enjoy a drink or two, less than once a month.
I am vegan and get my blood nutrient levels checked every 6 months, which are usually better than average. (vit d dips a little in winter)
My hair is mostly straight with a slight wave due to the fact that it is usually kept in braids.
The closest dye match to my natural hair would be approximately 8.34 or golden copper blonde in industry terms.
Though as we know with natural hair, it’s never exact.
In one ponytail, the circumference is 4.5 inches.
From my nape the length is approximately 18 inches, from my crown it is approximately 24 inches.
This may be up to an inch longer by the time I cut it, as my hair grows quite fast.
I would love to get a quote, as I am looking around for the best price before I cut it.
