Hello! I am a young highschool student who happens to grow hair really quick, have been donating my hair alot recently but wanted to try this out!
My hair is extremely healthy, it is not prone to getting frizzy at the ends, or oily at the roots, but when i was younger, it would get tangly here and there. I combatted this by putting coconut oil on the ends overnight before my shower day, this fixed the problem immediately and has been apart of my routine for years.
The rest of my hair routine? Well I shower three times a week, on every other day, so as to not lose my natural hair oils. I put tea tree oil, jojoba oil, and almond oil on my scalp/roots to maintain a good scalp health and root quality. The oils that I use on my scalp have natural ingredients that i infused into them: aloe vera, lavender, and rosemary! These definitely improved the quality of my hair within a few uses and have been apart of my routine for a long time.The coconut oil (as mentioned) are frequently used on my roots, and all the oiling of my hair is done the night before and used overnight before my shower. In the shower, i stick to very natural ingredients like apple cider vinegar to cleanse the scalp, and the ends from the excess coconut oil. I use herbal conditioners, and shampoos aswell.
I have a healthy diet, and although my hair’s great texture and length is hereditary, I am very strict with my hair care routine. I do hair masks atleast once every month. I eat atleast two fruits a day, and drink lots of water. This may affect the growth of my hair.
