36” Wavy to Curly Medium Brown Virgin Hair from family of mixed racial background: Irish, Scottish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Native Mayan

Hair was grown over the last 6 years from a boy-short pixie cut. Washed about every 5 days when short and approximately 3 times every 2 weeks once longer, first year or two with Garnier Fructise Grapefruit Vegan products, the next year with Old Spice Lavender products, the following 2 or 3 years with Aussie Miracle Waves and Cake The Curl Girl products followed with a Curl cream by either Cake (The Curl Friend) or Mark Antony (Strictly Curls Curl Envy or Moisturizing Smoothie Cream) and a bit of Aussie 24 Hour Freeze Gel.

Never heat treated nor dyed and kept most of the time in one or two braids over the last 3 years. Occasional hair dryer with diffuser after a wash in the colder months, following a 10 minute plop on top of the head in a microfiber hair towel and hand scrunching the majority of the water out of the wavy curls.

Grew it as a vow to not cut my hair until I had finally reached my goal of meeting and getting to know family who live in Guatemala, my mother’s home country. Because of COVID, this took 6 years to achieve, but I have finally met my Tias and Primos and my hair is ready to be released from its vow. It will be happy to go to someone who will appreciate it and enjoy it!
